Short Description: A top-down sock in one size, composed of beguiling organic motifs of baby violets and fern shoots. Patterns extend down the leg and over the top of the foot. May be resized by substituting needles and/or yarn. While not technically reversible for toe-up construction, the motifs are equally beguiling in the reverse orientation.
Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rows = 4” in stockinette
Finished Measurements: 8 inches in circumference, to fit feet up to 9.5 inches around. Leg height as shown is 8 inches from floor. note: a change in yarn weight or needle size will result in a variation in overall size.
Materials Used: 350 yds (310mts) of sock yarn of any springy, high-twist sock yarn.
