Steggie by Norichan Knits. Steggie is a striped, asymmetric, triangular shawl with a lace edging. It is a scrap-eating shawl meant to use up your scraps of any size to the very last bit! It is also an ideal pattern for using up minis, or feel free to use full skeins, as well!
Gauge: 22 sts x 26.5 garter ridges = 4” x 4” [10cm x 10cm] in garter stitch, blocked; 24 sts x 27 garter ridges = 4” x 4” [10cm x 10cm] in garter stitch, unblocked (*Note: Gauge is not crucial here, as you can end the shawl when you either run out of scraps, or feel it is large enough. Gauge is listed if there is a concern about having enough scraps or minis. Gauge is likely to change throughout the shawl, due to the variance in thickness for different fingering weight yarns. The above gauges are averages.)
Finished Measurements: 55 (72)” [140 (183)cm] wide x 18.5 (19)” [47 (48)cm] tall (*Note: The neon rainbow shawl is the smaller size, and the autumn and water toned one is the larger. Model is 5’2” tall.)
