Stagleap by Samantha Guerin Designs | Stagleap is a cabled cowl offered in two sizes. The cables shift across the height of the cowl, forming striking wedges of two by two ribbing, outlined by cables. The larger size can be worn in an open, relaxed loop, or doubled up around your neck to protect you from the elements. The smaller size fits comfortably over your head and will slip neatly under your winter coat, zipped up.
Gauge: Using US 7 / 4.5 mm needle, 21 sts and 24 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in k2, p2 rib, in the round, after blocking
Finished Measurements:
- Circumference: Small (Large); 25” / 63.5 cm at top, 29” / 74 cm at bottom (41” / 104 cm at top, 44” / 112 cm at bottom)
- Height: 12” / 30.5cm
Materials Used: Hudson + West Co, ‘Forge’ | 70% U.S. Merino, 30% U.S. Corriedale | 235 yds per 100 g | 2 skeins OR 310 yds (2 skeins or 470 yds) of a similar worsted weight yarn

- US 7 / 4.5 mm or size needed to get gauge, 24” circular needle
- US 5 / 3.75 mm or two sizes smaller than needle used to get gauge, 24” circular needle
