Short Description: This shawl pays homage to my paternal homeland; the lands of Scorrybreac outside of Portree on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It is delicate, romantic and airy; whimsical and vintage inspired. The linear nature of the lace pattern catches the eye as it flows through the shawl’s body. This is a simple to knit lace that quickly become intuitive.
This classic triangle shaped shawl begins with a garter tab and uses yarn overs to increase the body and wing span.
