Plume Hat (Fingering) by September Knits. My love for crochet and knitting continues to grow, and I am completely in love with mixing them. In this design, I mixed the beauty and elasticity of simple knit ribbing with a warm and addicting crochet stitch - the puff stitch. This hat is so fun to make and wear. It’s very warm and perfect for a colder weather hat.

Gauge: 28 sts/49 rounds= 4 in/10 cm in 1x1 rib using 3.00 mm/US# 2 after blocking in fingering weight yarn only; 8.5 sts/8.5 rounds= 4 in/10 cm in crochet puff stitch pattern on using 3.50 mm/E-4, crochet hook after blocking in fingering weight yarn & suri alpaca lace held double

Finished Measurements:

  • Unstretched brim circumference: 14 (14.5, 16, 17, 18) in/35.5 (37, 41, 43, 46) cm
