Short Description: Peponi Scarf by The Yarniad. Peponi is a shawl-shaped scarf – mimicking a slice of melon, the dent at the top wraps perfectly around the neck and the tapered ends are tied at the front. Worked mostly in a simple lace pattern, Peponi then opens up into an even simpler lace edging and a crochet-like bind off that creates pretty “wings” that hang down in the front. The overall effect is that of a light, frothy scarf, but in wool Peponi will still keep you warm.
