Nasturtium Shawl by September Knits. During the summer, I took my kids to a neighborhood park. In this park they have community garden beds, filled with Nasturtium plants. When I picked up a fallen Nasturtium leaf, the shape of the leaf inspired me. It reminded me of a half-circle shawl. The beautiful leaf veins coming from the center reminded me of brioche ribbing. From this leaf, I was given a shawl design that I couldn’t wait to make happen.
