These simple yet striking designs all feature eyelet fabric and eyelet ribbing. Individually or together, they are perfect for an adventurous beginner or the more experienced knitter looking for a fast fun knit. A great choice for quick gifts or to complement your own wardrobe. The Mirri Hat comes in 3 sizes and 2 lengths - choose from a Slightly slouchy version, which can be worn loosely or pulled over the brow for a beanie, or the Super slouchy variation. Mirri is an Australian Aboriginal word meaning stars. Scores of eyelets dot this fabric like twinkling stars in the night sky

Gauge: 26 stitches & 44 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette in the round with larger needles - blocked

Finished Measurements: 20 21, 22“/51 53.5, 56cm Length (brim to top): Slightly Slouchy: 7.5”/19cm Super Slouchy: 10”/25.5cm

Materials Used: arn: 200-300 yds/180-275m 4ply/fingering weight yarn
Samples shown in Quince and Co. Finch (100% American Wool, 221 yd /202 m per 50g hank).  Slightly slouchy: Bird’s egg, 1 skein Super slouchy: Iceland, 2 skeins 

Needle Size: US 3/3.25mm (or size required to obtain gauge) & US 2 ½ /3mm – 16”/40cm circular or dpns
