Mabrey Sweater by September Knits | Mabrey is worked from the top down with basic yoke construction. First, you cast on for the neck. After the collar ribbing, you begin to work short rows to shape the back of the neck. The yoke is created with standard increases. After short rows, the simple color-work charts begin. Maybrey is worked in an all-over stockinette stitch. Once yoke depth and bust width is created you will split for the sleeves and continue to work in the round for the body. The sleeves are picked up after the body is completed. Simple color-work is also added prior to working the sleeve cuffs. An extra detail throughout this sweater is a simple purl ridge before or after all ribbing. The underarm gap is sewn together at the end.
