Materials Used: any weight can be used, yardage depends on weight and size (approx: 60-120 yards / 55-110 meters bulky weight, 75-150 yards / 70-140 meters worsted weight, 90-200 yards / 80-180 meters sport weight, 100-250 yards / 90-230 meters fingering)
Needle Size: size to match yarn weight - either a long circular to work magic loop method or DPNs, plus a couple extra DPNs, and an extra circular in a smaller size to hold stitches

Other Details: Working stripes or using a self-striping yarn is recommended. There are 2 slightly different wrist design options (all garter stitch or garter edged). In the long fingerless version, the hand and wrist parts are identical, so they can be worn facing either direction.
