Short Description: A pair of mittens designed for and inspired by my woodworking father, with a cable detail running down the back of the hand.
Gauge: 18 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Finished Measurements: 10” circumference hand (measured around the palm), 7 3/4” hand length (measured from longest finger tip to bottom of palm), with a 3 1/2” cuff.
Materials Used: 165 yards worsted weight yarn, row counter, cable needle, waste yarn, tapestry needle, stitch marker
Needle Size: US 8/5mm 40” circular needle for Magic Loop method or DPN’s
