Short Description: www.olioknits.com. Aureate is an asymmetrical triangle shawl, knit flat from tip to edge using garter stitch, two-colour brioche stitch, and a garter mesh lace stitch. The short row arrow-shaped wedges help to create the distinct shape - as the shawl grows, the Brioche sections get smaller and the accent wedges become larger until casting off.
Gauge: 23 sts and 21 rows to 10cm (4in) over two-colour brioche stitch on 3.5mm needle after blocking. Take time to check your tension and adjust the needle size as necessary to ensure an accurate finish.
