As You Wish Cowl by TanisKnits | Worked in the round from the bottom up starting with easy garter edging, this stranded colorwork cowl tells the story of The Princess Bride. Beginning with the farm where Wesley and Buttercup meet and fall in love, additional motifs such as Buttercup’s crown, Wesley/The Dread Pirate Robert’s and Inigo Montoya’s swords from their epic sword fight, Wesley’s mask, the famous “As you wish” line, and an open book, an ode to William Goldman’s 1973 novel the film was based on, come to life as you work your way through the chart. This was so much fun to design and even more fun to knit!
