Short Description: This color-blocked jacket with clean, simple lines was inspired by moto jackets. It features articulated elbows, which are worked with short-row shaping, and colorblocked sleeves, which are worked seamlessly, along with the body, using the intarsia method. The sleeves of the sweater shown were knitted at the same time (using both the inner and the outer strand of yarn from one wound skein of yarn) until the skein ran out, then finished with the black cuffs. Working the cuffs this way is a great way to use yarns from your stash - but you could make the sleeves one solid color if you prefer.
