Short Description: This shawl is the perfect pairing of mindless garter and simple lace to keep you a little more engaged. The three color fade provides a fun chance to play around with color combos, shades, and endless possibilities! I hope you enjoy!
Gauge: 22 stitches x 48 rows = 4 x 4 “ in garter stitch *after wet blocking
Note: For this shawl, gauge is not incredibly important, if using a fingering or heavy lace weight yarn I would suggest US Size 3 or 4 needles, (it just depends which you like the looks of better when you begin knitting). This shawl could also be knit with larger needles with a heavier yarn, just keep in mind the size of the entire piece will grow as well. Also, the yardage estimates are for this shawl knit with US Size 3 (3.25 mm) needles, if you do use a needle larger than this you may need a little more yarn to follow the pattern as written.
- Depth= 19”
Materials Used: Heavy Lace weight or Fingering Weight yarn, 3 skeins of Fru ValBorg Merino Single approximately 400 yards/100g each

Other Details: This three color asymmetrical shawl combines a simple lace motif with garter sections of color block and fades. You will begin with Color A, and work a garter section, followed by a lace section, followed by a garter section that fades Color A into B. With B you will work a garter, then a lace block, followed by another fade in garter stitch from Color B to Color C, ending with a lace block of Color C.
