Product Description

Short Description: Alocasia is a slightly batwing pullover worked in one piece from the top down with modified drop shoulders with a double v-neck in the back and the front.  The neckline is highlighted by a band of crossed stitches which extends down the center front of the pullover. An i-cord edging gives the neckline a polished look.

Gauge: 26 stitches and 34 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch on the larger needles, after blocking

Finished Measurements: Finished bust measurements (85, 95) 105, 115 (125, 135) cm / (33 ½ , 37 ½ ) 41 ¼ , 45 ¼ (49 ¼, 53 ¼) ”

Materials Used: "Yarn: Approx. (900, 1020) 1140, 1260 (1380, 1500) meters/(980, 1110) 1240, 1370 (1500, 1640) yards of solid or semi-solid fingering weight yarn. The sample was knit with a 100 % merino fingering weight yarn (400 m [440 yds] per 100 g skein)

Needle Size:

  • US size 4 (80 cm/32 ins minimum) circular needle or size needed to obtain the correct gauge for the body and the sleeves
  • US size 2 needles for the lower edge ribbing of body and sleeves
